Congratulations
to Lorraine, who cycled 37 miles yesterday from London to Windsor for the charity The British Heart Foundation.
Lorraine single-handedly raised £260.00 for the charity. The charity is dear to her heart,
as her father had to undergo a triple heart by pass in the last few years. Lorraine trained hard for 6
months preparing for the race having never cycled before. Her husband Roger also stepped in and made the
day, after her colleague, Sarah was taken ill at the last minute and was unable to cycle. Roger had not
trained at all but both completed the race in under 3.5hours! Lorraine and Sarah would also like to thank The Style Guru’s
client’s friends and families for donating sponsorship money and £260.00 helps to buy a hand held ECG machine,
which helps people monitor their condition at home.

The story so far....
Sarah Charles created the Style Guru in December 2004 in a small private shop in Tilehurst.
Within 2 years we had outgrown our space and with a successful client base decided to expand into larger premises, Theale
High Street where we are still growing thanks to the loyalty of staff and clients.
